Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Dawn Cooper has been an audiologist since 1996. She grew up in Alabama and has her BS and MS from East Tennessee State University.

She completed her Clinical Fellowship Year at Shore Health Services in Nassawadox, Virginia and at DePaul Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk. In 2009, she returned to school to complete her Doctorate of Audiology at Salus University. She is a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association where she holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). She is a licensed audiologist and hearing aid specialist in Virginia.

When not in the office, Dr. Cooper enjoys spending time with her family and pets, gardening, and traveling.
